Rising French Doom Rock Group to Release New LP, ‘Of Blood and Wine’, October 5
French doom rock rousers The Necromancers will release their new LP, Of Blood and Wine, on October 5 via Ripple Music (Mothership, BANG!, Castle). Drawing their main inspiration from mythological, satanic and fantastic tales of Europe as well as classic horror cinema from the last century, The Necromancers’ melting pot produces many a darkened shade, each deeply enthralling, brimming with mystical delights and devilish darkness. Of Blood and Wine is the follow-up to The Necromancers‘ debut album, Servants of The Salem Girl, an LP that was hailed as “a wild celebration honoring the best parts of rock, doom, and traditional heavy metal.”
In advance of the release of Of Blood and Wine, The Necromancers debut the new song “The Gathering” via The Obelisk, which hails the band’s sound as a “blend of cult rock, doom, heavy vibes and ’70s-style boogie”. Hear The Necromancers‘ “The Gathering” at this location.
