Cologne’s most fire-driven heavy rockers PLAINRIDE join the Orange Amps family with a special endorsement deal! The band will be touring Germany extensively this spring, in anticipation of the release of their new album later in the year.
Frontman Max Rebel comments: “This is a huge milestone for us. We’ve been using Orange amps ever since we started out as a band back in 2013 and a lot of our favorite guitarists like Clutch’s Tim Sult or Crobot’s Chris Bishop have endorsed them for years, so getting to join their ranks in a sense is a big deal. I remember being in the car with my parents when I got the email and to this day I am very thankful my father managed to keep the steering wheel straight, because I may have screamed very loud reading it. Needless to say, the renown Orange has in the scene and beyond is 100% deserved given their impeccable sound. I have been playing a Tiny Terror for years, Bob got himself a Rocker 15 Terror and we both just switched to PPC212V lightweight cabs. We really can’t wait to tear it up on stage with these new toys.”

Earth rockin’ drums, a beard growth-inducing bass, fuzzomental guitars, the roar of a wolfman and a whole lotta beer: these are the elements that make PLAINRIDE‘s muscular and blues-tinged brand of riff-rock so addictive. The band is currently working on their new album, to be released later this year on Ripple Music. Watch their latest videos “Hour of the Mûmakil” and “Shepherd“.

Uncounted shirts have fled their owners at the sound of Cologne‘s prime purveyors of heavy rock PLAINRIDE, who long ago freed themselves from the scourge of upper body raiments, are on a vendetta against dry sweat glands and the conformist regime set on keeping them that way. Their mission: liberation by the electric guitar. Having planted the seed of rebellion in the hearts and minds of audiences at Wacken Open Air 2018 and a Fu Manchu show that one time, they have now gathered such dangerous momentum, they’ve become an outright threat to public safety. Lock your bathroom windows because these four heathens will stop at nothing to expose themselves to you.PLAINRIDE released their sophomore album ‘Life On Ares’ in the fall of 2018, an endeavor fueled by the ongoing and fruitful collaboration with Californian record label Ripple Music. After a chaotic and rather mind-numbing year 2020, the band returns to shake all souls, gearing up for the release of their third full-length in 2021 on Ripple Music.
