Taiga Woods

Taiga Woods makes heavy, melodic rock driven by soaring vocal harmonies, psychedelic textures, and massive fuzzed-out guitar riffs. The project actually started out as a one-man endeavor called “Scumbag Travel Agency,” where frontman Erik Skundberg posted riffs and demos on YouTube, gathering a worldwide fanbase.

The self-titled debut was released in 2017 on Cursed Tongue Records to great reviews, turning heads with what reviewers called an “impressive debut album complete with reverb-drenched fuzz, pop-laced vocals, and hook-laden chorus runs”. This momentum led to putting together a full band, playing heavily around Norway.

Now featuring an airtight lineup of musicians Jonatan Eikum, Jøran Normann, and Ole Ulvik Rokseth and Erik Skundberg the band is finally releasing their much-coveted second full-length, Eye of the Taiga, on the American label Ripple Music.

Taiga Woods stands their ground with their own unique sound, combining strong melodic vocal harmonies with heavy, fuzzed-out guitar riffs and a super groovy rhythm section. With this lineup, they have developed a more progressive, high-octane songwriting style with an even trippier atmosphere
