Aptera is a four-piece band from Berlin that mixes blues, sludge, doom, classic metal, and punk grit. The band members are from Brazil, Italy, Belgium, and the United States. The band’s music is described as a guttural cry that evokes elements of Black Sabbath, Windhand, Neurosis, and Mastodon. Aptera’s music is also said to blend contemporary and mythological tales of rebellion, revenge, and rising from the ashes.
