Plaindrifter are a heavy psych trio from Germany’s industrial heartland, the Ruhr area.
Formed in 2017, the band blends hypnotic riffs and spacious soundscapes inspired by acts like Elder, King Buffalo, and Lowrider. By incorporating elements of stoner, prog and post rock they create their very own captivating sound.
Their debut album Echo Therapy carved out a name for Plaindrifter in the European underground, earning attention for its mix of raw heaviness and melodic depth. Now, with their second album on the horizon, the band is ready to push their sonic journey even further.
